Every weekend, I’ll be pulling cards for the week ahead; the following Sunday, I’ll be back to look at whether the tarot forecast held true. Think of it as a tarot reading with an accuracy check. Just as a note: this is a personal reading, not a collective one. The weekly tarot forecast is personal, but I am sharing it publicly with the aim of accountability and checking on accuracy. After all, anyone can interpret cards in hindsight; I want to find out what tarot looks like when you commit to it in real time, before you know how things turn out. This way I can’t try to make the cards fit into the events.

If you’d like to get your own weekly tarot forecast, you can purchase one here or if you’d like a longer timeframe, opt for a month, or even a year.

Moving on to the situation I’m reading for, here is where I’m at right now: I’ve had to quit my job; my last day is at the end of April. This means I have a matter of weeks before I’m fully reliant on income I’m still building. I have several projects in motion and the financial pressure is real. So for this week I’ve chosen three topics to focus on:

  • My job: the one I’m leaving, and what the final weeks might look like
  • My side projects: the work I’m trying to grow into something that actually sustains me
  • My finances: the part that keeps me up at night

Two cards for each. Here’s what came up.

My Job

Cards pulled: III Cups, Ace of Cups

Quite an interesting tarot forecast about a job that I am leaving: the III of Cups is about celebration, a positive environment, even a promotion. Group work and collaboration is going better, and the office is very supportive.

The Ace of Cups shows new beginnings: this could be in terms of better work relationships between you and your colleagues, perhaps new projects, new challenges, feeling inspired, a moment to take on new responsibilities. It could be a new job.

My Side Projects

Cards pulled: Queen of Pentacles, The World

The Queen of Pentacles is about successful business planning, achieving goals, precautions, and support. She is about independence and wisdom. She brings career success through practicality and being organised. She could be the appearance of a mentor, colleague or business partner who will give advice and help you accomplish your goals.

The World symbolizes success, achievement, and completion. The efforts being put in are starting to pay off. A major milestone has been completed. There’s time to celebrate what’s been earned. You can start thinking about the next steps soon, but for now enjoy the success of right now.

My Financial Situation

Cards pulled: The Empress Rx, King of Wands

In reverse, The Empress signifies feeling instability around finances, even if the situation is actually okay. It can also signify excessive spending or a lack of financial planning.

The King of Wands shows that you can save money when required but also like to spend on others. Be careful with what you spend on and what you invest in. The card points to financial success through entrepreneurial matters.

The Quintessence

Finally, the hidden influence for the week: the Quintessence: XIII Death (To learn about Quintessence and how to calculate it click here).

As the quintessence card, Death shows that the week will signify the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one. It’s about transformation and rebirth, getting rid of whatever no longer benefits oneself and instead embracing the change.
