Every Sunday, I’ll be pulling tarot cards for the week ahead; the following Sunday, I’ll be back to look at whether the tarot weekly forecast held true: a tarot accuracy check. Just as a note: the weekly tarot forecast is personal, but I am sharing it publicly with the aim of accountability and checking on accuracy. If you’d like to get your own weekly tarot forecast, you can purchase one here or if you’d like a longer timeframe, opt for a month, or even a year.

Tarot Accuracy: Checking Week 23’s Forecast

The week involved work travel. Here’s the forecast vs what actually happened.

My Trip: Work Outcomes

Weekly Forecast: VIII of Cups Reversed

Tarot Accuracy Check: Queen of Pentacles

Weekly Forecast: VII of Pentacles Reversed

Cards pulled: VIII of Cups Rx, Queen of Pentacles, VII of Pentacles Rx

The Queen of Pentacles is a successful businesswoman: she is practical and organized and can carry out her business plans successfully. But there’s some indecision and fear, stagnation, not knowing if this is the right path. The outcome might not be what as great as you wanted it to be. The hard work may not pay off as much as you had hoped, so there’s doubt. There may be a female figure who is a mentor/advisor.

What happened

I’m going through quite a bit of indecision regarding my work, and I do have some fears. The indecision was increased by some events of the week. As for the outcome, it wasn’t as much as I had hoped for. My health got in the way so I wasn’t able to do as much work as I’d planned to, and I felt disappointed about that. I did however manage to carry out a ‘business plan’ successfully – I was commissioned to write a story, which is what I was really hoping to get do. There was also a female figure acting as a mentor/advisor. At one of the booths I visited at the convention, a woman pulled me aside and sat me down to talk with me, giving me advice, asking about my health, etc.

Interpersonal Relationships

Weekly Tarot Forecast: Judgement Reversed

Weekly Tarot Forecast: The Devil Reversed

Weekly Forecast: VII of Wands Reversed

Cards pulled: Judgement Rx, The Devil Rx, VII of Wands Rx

An old problem will resurface and get settled once and for all, but this will leave you more in control of the relationship in question: it will remove the negative emotional aspects of the relationship that have led you to act in a self-preserving manner, such as being careful of what you say and how you say it. There will likely be some blame and denial thrown around, and it’s time to face the truth. You will end up more in control of relationships, more independent, and more emotionally healthy.

What happened

So an old problem did resurface and get settled (and the blame was thrown on me, with denial on the part of the other person), though I’m not sure I’m more in control, though I feel like I know how I should and should not interact, and what I should and should not expect. There definitely was me editing myself and being careful of the way I speak and what I say and I no longer want to do that. I’m not sure that I feel more emotionally healthy, I feel as emotionally dead as always.

A Message I Need to Remember

Weekly Tarot Forecast: VI of Swords

Weekly Tarot Forecast: King of Pentacles

Weekly Tarot Forecast: Page of Swords Reversed

Cards pulled: VI of Swords, King of Pentacles, Page of Swords

It’s time to move on into better times: embrace new opportunities! Stay curious, be open to learning. If you stay focused and dedicated, you can achieve the goal. Have thoughtful conversations, be patient, stay grounded. There is forward movement, and leaving something behind.

What happened

Most of this is advice, which I have done my best to follow. I have reached a small goal within the big goal, and there is some forward movement. I know there are things I need to leave behind, but I’m not sure if I am headed in that direction. However I certainly left my sunglasses behind! They didn’t make it to the airport with me.

The Quintessence

Tarot Quintessence: Death Rx

Finally, the hidden influence for the week: the Quintessence: XIII Death Rx – I can’t seem to stop having Death as my quintessence; this is the third week I’ve had it, and the second week that it’s been in reverse. (To learn about Quintessence and how to calculate it click here).

As previously mentioned, Death in reverse as the quintessence card signifies holding on to something that is already dead. There is refusal to accept the end of a cycle. I need to figure out what this is.

What happened

I know what this is. I know what the ending is and I know I’m refusing to accept it.

Tarot Accuracy: ✔️ Accurate

This Week’s Forecast: Week 25

It’s Sunday 14th June, so tomorrow Week 25 starts. I’ve chosen to focus on three things: work, finance, and a particular friendship.

Work

Weekly Forecast

Tarot Accuracy Check

Weekly Tarot Forecast

Cards pulled: King of Pentacles, The Sun, Page of Wands Rx

There is a movement from confusion and creative blocks to completion of goals, with much success, which could include financial gains too. The quintessence of these three cards is The Fool: a new beginning in a way, a leap of faith, trusting oneself. Time to tap into discipline and stop chasing frivolous ideas.

My Finances

Weekly Forecast

Cards pulled: III of Cups Rx, II of Pentacles Rx, IX of Wands

There’s going to be obstacles, delays, frustrations, likely involving people. You’ll feel quite trapped and off-balance. The quintessence of these three cards is The Emperor, meaning the need to set boundaries and be in control. Have discipline, be authoritative.

The Friendship

Weekly Tarot Forecast

Cards pulled: X of Cups, VII of Swords, VI of Swords Rx

I’ll be honest, my first reaction at the X of Cups was to smirk in disbelief. I had to discard one of the original three cards I had pulled because I knocked it before flipping it over so I didn’t know which way was upright. Two extra cards slid off the deck, so I am taking those two as a message that I will add on below. On to the meaning here: there’s a feeling of togetherness, happiness, but you’re suspicious, trapped in these feelings, and you can’t move on from them. The quintessence of these three cards is Justice: there is a need for clarity and truth. And because I’m curious, the card that was accidentally flipped and left out of the reading is the IV of Pentacles.

A Message

Weekly Tarot Forecast

Weekly Tarot Forecast

Cards pulled: Death Rx, The Devil Rx

Get ready for some change, and stop clinging to the past. Continue working on the path towards change, towards a better you. Get rid of whatever no longer serves you, and move forward to a brighter future. The quintessence here is the Wheel of Fortune in reverse – some negative changes happening, but they won’t last forever.

The Quintessence

Tarot Quintessence

Finally, the hidden influence for the week: the Quintessence: XIII Death – once again. Some sort of slow change I’m not aware of? Something I should be working on changing that I’m missing? I thought I knew what it was but I’m not sure anymore. (To learn about Quintessence and how to calculate it click here).
