Every Sunday, I’ll be pulling tarot cards for the week ahead; the following Sunday, I’ll be back to look at whether the tarot weekly forecast held true: a tarot accuracy check. Just as a note: the weekly tarot forecast is personal, but I am sharing it publicly with the aim of accountability and checking on accuracy. If you’d like to get your own weekly tarot forecast, you can purchase one here or if you’d like a longer timeframe, opt for a month, or even a year.

Also – I’m super late on both my accuracy check and my forecast! I’ll quickly run through Week 17’s accuracy check then get into the forecast for Week 23 as it’s already Tuesday.

Tarot Accuracy: Checking Week 17’s Forecast

Week 17 was my final week at my job, my cousin’s wedding, and my Mum’s birthday. It was an interesting week overall, here’s the accuracy check.

My Job

Weekly Forecast: VI of Cups Reversed

Tarot Accuracy Check: Page of Pentacles

Weekly Forecast: King of Wands Reversed

Cards pulled: VI of Cups Rx, Page of Pentacles, King of Wands Rx

There’s a lot to do this week but it doesn’t seem like there’s enough time to get it all done. You will be leaving the comfort and stability of your job, but be careful of manipulative leadership as you go.

What happened

It was the last week at my job, and involved manipulation from leadership, along with giving me a task that was too much work considering the time I had left. Definitely accurate.

Tarot Accuracy: ✔️ Very Accurate

My Side Projects

Weekly Forecast: Ace of Cups Reversed

Weekly Forecast: III of Cups

Weekly Forecast: The Fool Reversed

Cards pulled: Ace of Cups Rx, III of Cups, The Fool Rx

There is reason for celebration here: something involving community and group settings, like a wedding. But there is lots of emotional instability, pain, loss, and creative block. Be careful of being gullible or reckless. Don’t get taken advantage of. It’s important to plan for the future: don’t just live in the moment.

What happened

There was actually a wedding, as my cousin got married, though I’m not sure how that ties in to my side projects. Unfortunately I don’t remember anything else from the week so I can’t speak to the accuracy of the rest of the forecast.

Tarot Accuracy: ❔Cannot decide

Anything Else I Need to Know

Weekly Forecast: The Lovers Reversed

Weekly Forecast: II of Cups

Weekly Forecast: II of Swords Reversed

Cards pulled: The Lovers Rx, II of Cups, II of Swords Rx

There’s an imbalance in a relationship (or relationships), and you will step back from any such relationships that no longer benefit you. There is also fairness, balance, and sharing within relationships. There is blossoming love, but also indecision: there is a decision under pression where there doesn’t seem to be a correct choice, instead it’s like choosing the best of two bad outcomes. You may be avoiding difficult questions.

What happened

The decision under pressure without a correct choice was definitely that work task – I spent so long wondering what to do, pulling tarot cards about possible outcomes, even a Celtic Cross, which was ultimately the most helpful of all. Again, I don’t remember enough to say anything about the rest.

Tarot Accuracy: ❔Cannot decide

The Quintessence

Finally, the hidden influence for the week: the Quintessence: XIII Death Rx – very interesting considering last week was XIII Death, but upright. (To learn about Quintessence and how to calculate it click here).

As the quintessence card, Death in reverse signifies holding on to something that is already dead. There is refusal to accept the end of a cycle.

What happened

I feel like in a way I tried to hold onto some friendships with colleagues but ultimately, that wasn’t going to work out.

Tarot Accuracy: ✔️ Mostly Accurate

This Week’s Forecast

It’s already Week 23 – it’s Tuesday 2nd June. This week involves work travel. I’m going to pull a few cards on some things that I feel are relevant for the rest of the week.

My Trip: Work Outcomes

Weekly Forecast: VIII of Cups Reversed

Tarot Accuracy Check: Queen of Pentacles

Weekly Forecast: VII of Pentacles Reversed

Cards pulled: VIII of Cups Rx, Queen of Pentacles, VII of Pentacles Rx

The Queen of Pentacles is a successful businesswoman: she is practical and organized and can carry out her business plans successfully. But there’s some indecision and fear, stagnation, not knowing if this is the right path. The outcome might not be what as great as you wanted it to be. The hard work may not pay off as much as you had hoped, so there’s doubt. There may be a female figure who is a mentor/advisor.

Interpersonal Relationships

Weekly Tarot Forecast: Judgement Reversed

Weekly Tarot Forecast: The Devil Reversed

Weekly Forecast: VII of Wands Reversed

Cards pulled: Judgement Rx, The Devil Rx, VII of Wands Rx

An old problem will resurface and get settled once and for all, but this will leave you more in control of the relationship in question: it will remove the negative emotional aspects of the relationship that have led you to act in a self-preserving manner, such as being careful of what you say and how you say it. There will likely be some blame and denial thrown around, and it’s time to face the truth. You will end up more in control of relationships, more independent, and more emotionally healthy.

A Message I Need to Remember

Weekly Tarot Forecast: VI of Swords

Weekly Tarot Forecast: King of Pentacles

Weekly Tarot Forecast: Page of Swords Reversed

Cards pulled: VI of Swords, King of Pentacles, Page of Swords

It’s time to move on into better times: embrace new opportunities! Stay curious, be open to learning. If you stay focused and dedicated, you can achieve the goal. Have thoughtful conversations, be patient, stay grounded. There is forward movement, and leaving something behind.

The Quintessence

Tarot Quintessence: Death Rx

Finally, the hidden influence for the week: the Quintessence: XIII Death Rx – I can’t seem to stop having Death as my quintessence; this is the third week I’ve had it, and the second week that it’s been in reverse. (To learn about Quintessence and how to calculate it click here).

As previously mentioned, Death in reverse as the quintessence card signifies holding on to something that is already dead. There is refusal to accept the end of a cycle. I need to figure out what this is.

See you next week.
